Unit was delivered on friday february 27, and within 4 hours was completely dead !!! Contacted merchant location on saturday 02/28 and they called me back on monday 03/02/26. They offered a new unit, but it took us 5 weeks to get this one, so we decided to ask for repair. The repair person came out on tuesday 03/03, and said the unit needed 2 main board's!!!! ---Imagine this a brand new unit!!!!! They said the board's wouldn't be in until monday 03/09, and they came and replaced them on wednesday 03/11. I tried to get them to overnight the boards but that didn't happen!!!! Can you imagine the company not being willing to ship boards overnight since the customer had a brand new unit which broke within 4 hours of receipt????? We ended up getting the unit on 02/27/26 and wasn't able to use it until 03/11/26!!!! Maytag owes us at a minimum an extended warranty at no cost for at least 2 years, and if further failures must then get us a new unit!!! The merchant offered a new unit, but might take another 5 weeks, or a different brand asap. Appreciate the dealership!! Please call me at 502-523-0993

It has been a couple of weeks and everything seems to elbe working fine, the ice make is a bit noisy, but other than that is an excelente refrigerator. We had a prior almost identical model that lasted us a bit over 20 years, that is whybwe bought this newer version of the same model type. I have faith in Maytag so far.

We had a 'garage' refrigerator to store our bulk bought groceries/beverages. It broke so we bought the same whirlpool refrigerator that we had in the kitchen and that older whirlpool moved to to the garage.

Terrible black color

Bought in June, didn™™t get till September. The shininess of the black door is terrible. Shows everything .Don™™t know why the don™™t do a black texture on the front. They have it on the side. I had to buy a black refrigerator to match the rest of my kitchen. Closing the doors is noisy as well as well when the refrigerator is running. The lower compartment has slots that you would put a divider in but the refrigerator doesn™™t come with it. The function of the refrigerator is acceptable.

I bought this a few weeks back and I love the icemaker and water feature. I just don™™t care that the freezer doesn™™t close by itself and the refrigerator doors. You have to shut instead of them kind of shut by their self and also a little smaller than my standard 21.9 ft.³, as it was supposed to be bigger as a 25 cubic feet, for these reasons, I give it a four out of five star. But as far as functionality™¦.. Overall, it is a nice refrigerator and very quiet! I will never ever buy a GE as manufacture warranty was awful and the refrigerator went bad in a couple of months, with Parts unable to acquire. Thumbs up so far on whirlpool for making some good appliances! One other inside information is appliance repair guys can work on whirlpool through manufacture warranty GE sends out their own and there™™s not many of them, but they will not replace your appliance in certain areas. FYI.

I would give Whirlpool -1 if I could. The refrigerator needs new filter and no one seems to sell them. The gas stove has a bottom broiler with no drawer or way to use it without kneeling on the floor. The propane burners are set too high so you cannot 'simmer' anything, finally, the dishwasher keeps tipping forward so you have to be careful when loading. If Whirlpool was giving appliances away I would not take one.

We've had this refrigerator for a few years now. Here is what we like - two tier drawer freezer that keeps items easier to find. Alarm signal that beeps when door(s) are ajar. Here is what we don't like - Ice cube system is sub-par. Ice jams occur constantly with this feature. It's terrible. Needs to be redesigned. No "middle" outside snack drawer. This drawer is inside the refrigerator and you must open both doors to access it. Needs a redesign to make it easier.

My experience has been disappointing. Twice the fridge has leaked because the freezer iced over. This requires moving the fridge out, taking face off the freezer, removing the freezer items and shelves, taking off the back plate, unplugging, using a syringe with hot water to run down the hard-to-get-to drain in the back of the freezer, cleaning out the drain hose and putting everything together again while trying not to break the front wheels. This has happened twice. During the second time both front wheels cracked badly requiring $90 worth of replacements. Also the inside left fridge shelf plastic has cracked and I had to order a $36 replacement. Pretty frustrated that it has frozen up twice in exactly two years...

I am very pleased with my purchase. The refrigerator has exceeded my expectations, both in performance and functionality. The refrigerator interior was easily configured to meet my needs. The refrigerator consistently maintains the desired temperature setting. The doors and the freezer drawer fit well and operate smoothly. The water and ice dispenser are trouble-free. I have had a minor problem with the sensor arm on the icemaker. On occasion, after the icemaker has discharged the ice into the container, the arm hangs, thereby turning off the icemaker. To avoid this, I open the ice container occasionally to verify the position of the arm. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The refrigerator looks great, the operation is very quiet, and the interior is easily configurable.

I have had it for a month or so now. I love it. I have had no issues with the loudness that other reviews had talked about. Sounds like a fridge with an ice maker. Sometimes you hear the ice maker but it is rare. The shelves and the drawers work well. I did remove one of the shelves for taller things. The door shelves do really keep drinks (2L bottles) cold.

There are some vibrations when the freezer door is closed. Seems to be alot more plastic which makes this unit feel less substanial. Great ice maker

I've had my refrigerator for a week now. It gets really cold which is great and keeps up with ice production for a family of four. Only thing I wish was different was the condiment shelves on the left side door are too shallow. If they could be deeper it would make storing items much easier.
