my old whirlpool range had a plastic box type insert in the bottom storage drawer that would hold all the pot lids, sheet pans, cookie cooling racks, now i have to be careful how much i put in the new one because it will slide out the back onto the electrical 220 outlet when you open or close the drawer, not happy with that design, how much would it have cost you to put a insert in. my fault for not checking things over first

I purchased this range about 7 months ago. I wanted to try it for a while before I gave a review. I love how easy it is to use and clean. The only thing I would change is the oven light. After I am done baking, I leave the oven door ajar so that it can cool off. The only problem is that the oven light stays on unless the door is closed. An override switch would be nice, but then that's just me I guess.

I needed a new oven and wanted to keep all my appliances one brand. This seemed to be a good choice. I live alone and am not a chef. I cook very simply. When the oven is on it has a weird "chirping" noise. The timer sound level is very low. I ordered through Lowe's and did not receive a manual. I also question the installation I paid for. Might have been better to order directly from Whirlpool ?

It is the updated version of my first Whirlpool Range. I like thAT it has a warming burner. I LIKE THE CHOICE OF 2 BIG BURNS UP FRONT AND THE HIGHER POWER THEY HAVE. I do not lick the black glass top. My old one had grey specs on it and hid drops easier. I have to continuously clean the top of the new range.

Overall, I'm pleased with this stove; however, I do have one issue with it. I purposely chose another Whirlpool appliance as similar as possible to my previous one. The main difference is with the size of the circles on the glass top double burners. On my previous stove, the inner circles for the double burners were 2 different sizes. On this stove, the inner circles are identical in size (and they're the same as the ones for the rear burners. The result is that there isn't one that is the right size for some of my pots. If the heating coil matches that, then some of the pan's surface isn't heated as well.

This was delivered February2. There were issues with delivery. Home depot delivered and they made my electricity go out after they plugged in the stove. He used his foot to plug the cord into the floor 1st then hooked the cord to the back of the stove. He ruined the cord that came with the stove. Then tried to say it was my fault. I do not like the fact that the stove door does not lock when you use the steam clean. Also do not like the fact that when you set the cooking temperature, the oven temp does not match what you set it for. I put my oven temperature gage in there and its way off.

So far Im very pleased with the way in heats up, today I made a cake and had no problems with the baking. Not sure about the steam clean but hope it stands up to the cleaning of food spatters. I bought this stove a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy with it. I am too lazy to read the owner!s manual so I am learning the specifics as I go. One of my favorite things is the oven warm-up. After I turn on the oven and set the temperature I want, the oven screen shows the current temperature and updates as the oven temperature rises to the desired setting. I think this feature is really cool. My stove is the ™€œglass top™€ which is great. It heats up quickly and is very easy to clean.

I've had my range about three weeks. The plus is the oven heats great. I hate the black top and findbit impossible to keep clean. The burner do not heat as quickly as my old range. Also the timer only counts down seconds the last minute. My old one counted down completely. The back of the drawer is super short. Much preferred my old range.

Just purchased after Christmas 2025. Range works great as well as the oven. My one complaint is that the "beeper" for the timer is not loud enough nor does is beep long enough. If you are not in the kitchen you will not hear it go off. That is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.

The oven doesn't work correctly. It doesn't heat correctly. When heating and baking it makes noises such as popping, Sounds like the racks are moving. The cook top works fine. If baking temperature is 350 degrees the temperature control must be set at least 375 degrees, I have an oven thermometer.

Nice basic electric range with no useless features

I received this a week ago, it replaced a 20yr old Kenmore (made by GE). It has nearly the same features as my old unit and that was all I was looking for. The unit is exactly 29 7/8" wide which met my requirements. The stovetop burners seem to heat up faster than my old unit. Things I don't like are 1) The oven light does not turn on when the over door is opened, one must press the light button on the control panel. 2) The audio level for the timer is a pleasant tune however it is faint so if you are in another room, you may not hear it. 3) The included manual is a useless generic installation manual. One has to get the generic Freestanding Electric Range Control Guide from the manu website for "generic clarity" of operation, cleaning & maintenance.

I love my new range had one years ago but the whirlpool seems to be better brand than what I had before and I love warming unit .

Perfect replacement

After a few weeks I have used the range top and the oven. The rangetop controls work well but sometimes are not smooth ooerating. May improve with more use. The range being gloss black shows any grease spatter. I now use pan screens to reduce grease spatter from landing on range top. Very nice light in the oven. Oven timer works well. I really like the larger storage door on front bottom. All my pans and pits fit inside just like before. Was simple to attach piwer cord saved from last stove. It is a 3 prong appliance so no rewiring needed. Fit exactly back into old stove place in my kitchen like a glove. Thirty inch stove top. All in all the perfect replacement. My old one was over 20 years old. It shorted out the oven control panel and ended up.licking the oven door.

Range with Stay Warm feature

I only recently received this stove, and haven't had the opportunity to use the no preheat oven yet. I love the stay warm burner though! Very happy so far!!
