it looks great: the stainless steel is timeless, neat: clean surface, recessed handle and has the soft touch buttons and cool: the led lights have a cool white color. i had a few dirty dishes so right away i put it to the test; i load it with dishes, soap and used the auto mode and ran it. after it started, i pressed the buttons on purpose to know if it would stop and it did not, so i do not think you can accidentally stop the machine once it starts. the soft touch is cool since there are no buttons to push or worn out in the future. speaking of when it starts, you can delay the start too, 3, 6 or 9 hours. the dishwasher is quiet, it does make some sound because you can hear the water, but it is quieter than i expected. i do not like that there is no lock on the buttons when it is off.

the front controls are too sensitive and get activated by a kid leaning to get something out of the cabinet above. the cycles will stop for no apparent reason but you don't know unless you are watching it for some lights to flash. if there is anything in the filter it will not run a cycle, again, no way to know unless you are watching it. it will be the 1st appliance i have to replace of the set. it is a year old and i hate it. would rather have the 25yr old unit i replaced.

This dishwasher is an ongoing nightmare. Walking too near it while it is running activates random button functions. The dish racks don't hold common glasses well and they immediately started corroding at the weld points. It stopped working. A kit was installed that had parts unrelated to the failure. The unrelated side seals were indeed leaking. There should have been a recall. The kit did not include a replacement of the side insulation removed to replace the seals. It was destroyed by the service call. It was not repaired. Due to the phantom switching when too near it we were running when we went to bed. Now it is more noisy due to destroyed insulation. It is more noisy to run at night. The door now has to be coaxed into position to latch. The hinges are too loose now. We hand wash most dishes now in order minimize the times it is used.

for years I've been dealing with a Whirlpool dishwasher and thought I was happy until I just bought a Samsung 3 deck dishwasher. What a joy to do the dishes!! Very quiet, I almost don't know it's on! Reviews say it breaks down a lot, which I hope is not the case here. I got a 3 year warranty just in case, but hope I don't have to use it. Very happy so far.

i've had this for less than 2 years and i already called in service 4-5 times.
first, the soap container broke.
they tried to fix it, but then the soap container didn't open. so i just threw in some pods inside for washing.
then, the led broke.
then it flooded my kitchen floor. thankfully my floor was stone vinyl, but it kind of destroyed the base of my cabinet.
lastly, the technician came and said the flooding is due to the door is broken that's causing some wiring to get damaged and then there's another part broken.
stupid dishwasher!

We bought this dishwasher about 6 months ago to replace the one that came with this house 16 years ago. It's so quiet! It had been difficult to have a conversation in our kitchen when the old dishwasher was running. Not any more! I love the 3rd shelf… it's perfect for measuring spoons, cup lids and baby bottle parts. The bottom shelf holds a couple days worth of dishes for the 3 of us, so I don't have to run it every day (which also means I don't have to empty it every day! ). Another feature that I appreciate is the basket for silverware . It keeps each piece standing upright singly, not nested together, which means all the eating surfaces get clean. We love this dishwasher!!

I bought this about a year ago and haven't been 100% impressed. We have draining issues off and on. We have issues with it sticking further out than our previous model and it leaves a weird gap on top which I had a professional try to adjust but coudln't. The inside does not dry with the heated dry cycle and it was extremely difficult to find someone to service this model. Since it sticks out a little further, the controls are constantly pressed by brushing them. I'd go for a model with the controls on top. I also was excited about the 3rd rack but I find it more annoying than useful.

Doesn't clean all the dishes, and when we had a part that needed to be replaced it took almost 1 month for them to fix it. It looks pretty though, and it fit where we needed it, but I wouldn't buy this one again.

i bought a samsung dishwasher & microwave in march of 2021. neither product carries a full 1 year warranty and i have had nothing but trouble, starting right after warranty ran out. this dishwasher is the worst! it runs when it wants to and if it decides its not going to, it will be days before it runs again! now, the lights are blinking on the display and the motor runs even with the door open. the microwave i purchased has no option to leave a review so lets add that here. right after the warranty ran out, i had to replace a sensor in it. i will never ever buy another samsung product.

i pulled the rack & my hand lightly touched the metal on the gliding portion of 2nd rack.it sliced my finger open. thankfully i barely touched it. my concern is for people who are older & children who like to play with the racks. people need to know of this issue and it needs to be redesigned asap! i have attached photos of the issue and my finger after it healed. i did not think to get one before only after when i decided to write a review.
also- *tinnitus trigger- machine makes a loud ringing noise after the wash & items are being sanitized & dried. if you suffer from tinnitus it can definitely trigger you. i was freaking out for a few weeks because i thought it had gotten worse but realized. then it makes me focus hardcore on my tinnitus after that. i have to stay aways while washing.

this model apparently follows samsung's history of bad dishwashers. the dry cycle never worked, and just after the warranty expired we started having flashing light error messages. replaced part, another problem, replaced another part, another problem. local repair guy works on all samsung products except dishwashers because they are known for this type of repair history. cost me less to replace it with another brand than to keep fixing.

samsung appliances are terrible my dishwasher and refrigerator broke this year. they were bought 2 years ago
but the biggest complaint was the dishwasher broke after two years and wasn't worth fixing. the dishwasher indicated low water pressure. home water pressure was checked and it was good. the water inlet valve was changed. i opted not to fix the next parts becasue it was over the cost of the dishwasher for parts and labor. but seriously a dishwasher that lasts 3 years. also my samsung refrigerator broke earlier this year. samsung did give me a credit to buy another refrigerator because it was under the 5 year warranty for the cooling system. but its true samsung appliances are garbage. next dishwasher will not be a samsung.

First off, this is a gorgeous machine. The stainless steel is super sleek so it will go with just about any other appliance color you might already have. We have a black stainless steel Samsung refrigerator and this looks great with it. The design of this model is gorgeous!
Next, the noise this machine produces is little to nothing. It's not loud at all... 51 decibels to be exact. The most you'll hear out of it is a low hum. One time when it was running, I actually thought the hum was just a faint sound carried by the wind from my neighbor's backyard music. It's quite comforting - if I could take a nap next to it, I'd be lulled to sleep for sure!
Moving on, the organization this dishwasher provides is "top shelf." I simply LOVE the 3rd rack that's located inside the very top of the unit. It's almost hidden but provides the perfect secure location for those hard-to-place utensils like grill forks, rolling pins, etc. The middle rack is also amazing because you can adjust it up to 2" upward so that you can fit big items in the bottom rack, like stew pots, cutting boards, etc. The utensil tray is handy because you can take it out which provides easy unload of your forks and spoons! They're separated to provide better clean for each and every tool.
Now, on to the less than desirable issues I've experienced with this dishwasher. I've noticed that the dishes aren't getting dry when using the associated setting. Of course, I don't expect them to be 100% completely damp-free, but every time I use this setting, the dishes (no matter how long I leave them in the dishwasher) are always still spotted with water... so much so that most of the time I'm left to drying them lightly with a cup towel before putting them away. I've also noticed that the water at the bottom of the dishwasher isn't completely draining out. On top of that, when I open the door for the first time after a wash, there is still about 1/4" of water that's collected in the divet of the door (which you have to reclose the door and sort of swoosh it out, or just sop up with a towel, or ignore!) and in the bottom of the unit.
My last point to mention is that several times after using, the dishes come out with a feeling that there's still soap on them. Now, we're not talking suds, but definitely a light film of soap residual.

At first sight, what drew me to this dishwasher was the sleek modern stainless-steel design with the recessed handle, digital touch controls, and the third rack. I jumped at the opportunity to replace my outdated beige dishwasher.
Although I originally had some installation issues, it's been a month since installation and I am extremely happy with my Samsung dishwasher thus far. I can easily select my desired dishwashing functions using the digital touch controls on the front. I love the 3rd cutlery/utensil rack at the because I can lay the utensils out flat during the cleaning process. Also, having the 3rd rack gives me more space for using the adjustable racks for my larger bowls, pots and pans.
For the most part, I've only used the Auto Cycle feature because the dishwasher can detect how dirty my dishes are and then automatically selects the optimal cleaning cycle. What a bonus! I don't have to worry about if my dishes are clean or need to repeat the cycle. The Samsung dishwasher is the trifecta of efficiency saving water, using less water and less electricity. All while making my dishes the cleanest, they've ever been.
I don't know how I managed previously without the illuminated blue digital touch controls with chime and child lock as I've found these features a necessity. These features make operating my Samsung dishwasher a breeze. Previously I had no idea which cycle my old dishwasher was on. I only knew when it was finished because it stopped making noise. With my Samsung dishwasher, the chime lets me know my selection, it's easy to check the status of each cycle and most important, it's so quiet! The hybrid tub and inner stainless-steel door are designed to absorb the sound and vibration when the dishwasher is in use.
Obtaining the Samsung Dishwasher was the last component to updating all of the major appliances in our home. Our kitchen is finally complete with modernized appliances.

The Samsung Dishwasher has been a much-needed update to the kitchen appliances in our home. One of the reasons we purchased it was because it matched our Stainless-Steel Samsung Freestanding Electric Range, Samsung French Door Refrigerator and Samsung microwave that we purchased a few years ago.
Delivery day... The delivery personnel were prompt, professional and courteous. Approximately 10 minutes after their arrival, I was told that we needed a dedicated AC outlet installed. My original dishwasher was hardwired to its dedicated circuit breaker. Unfortunately, we did not get that memo prior to the dishwasher arrival. So, they left the New Samsung Dishwasher with us, along with the old. To avoid any further delay in using the new Samsung Dishwasher; I proceeded with disconnecting the old dishwasher and making a quick call to an Electrican (Family Friend), to get the dedicated AC outlet and etc., installed / connected. The hot water intake was challenging for me because the original / old dishwasher had its connection in the front and the new Samsung connection was in the rear. This seemed odd to me because checking for potential water line leaks is easier with a front connection. Lastly, came the discharge hose, anti-tip brackets and done! We couldn't wait to use it! They came back to pick up the old dishwasher, in six days.
The sleek flat front touch controls with child lock-out are AWESOME! The blue indicator lights (led, I believe) are a nice touch and makes our old dishwasher look like it belonged in an antique shop! This new Samsung Dishwasher has a lot of bells & whistles. The old dishwasher had front push-in buttons and a large dial to select / monitor cycles, it also made a sound like an old school lunch bell / alarm when the dishwashing & drying cycle was complete. The use of space inside this new Samsung Dishwasher is top notch along with the placement of the rinsing agent and dishwashing detergent fills. One of the coolest features is the "Sanitize" option. These combined features and functionality are nothing short of another Samsung engineering marvel! Overall, we love our new Samsung Dishwasher. It's easy to use, has lots of features / settings and is energy efficient. I'm sure we will enjoy using it for many years to come. Dirty pots and dishes have finally met their match!

Let me start by saying that this is hands down the best dishwasher I've ever owned. It looks great in my kitchen and performs even better. The finish is beautiful and is easily cleaned and resists fingerprints and more importantly puppy nose prints. Even though it' doesn't have the quietest decibel rating that Samsung offers it is still far more quiet than the one I had previously. So much so that I've had to hold my ear to the door to make sure it was running. I absolutely love the flexibility of this unit. The silverware drawer at the top is a must have feature in my opinion. Silverware never came out clean in the basket in my old one when everything was crammed into it. There were always a few spoons and forks that didn't get cleaned in every load. The capacity in the unit is amazing. I no longer have dishes left over in the sink waiting on the next load after a dinner with friends or family like I've had before. Everything fits and in this unit and it's still usually not full. It does a great job cleaning the dishes as well. I can't say enough good things about it. One tip I would give to people is if you are used to using the detergent gel packs you will want to switch to liquid detergent. I did have trouble with the gel packs not fully releasing and dissolving in the detergent holder. Once I switched to the liquid detergent I have had no issues with dishes having to be rewashed at all. Everything comes out spotless. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is in the market for a new dishwasher. I love it.

I love my Front Control 51 dBA Dishwasher with Hybrid Interior in Stainless Steel. My dishes come out so clean, it is so quiet when in use sometime I check to make sure it's running, this has been a great addition to my kitchen!

The Samsung Dishwasher arrived well packaged in a big box. The attachments required for install were included. My husband was able to put it together with no problem. I was happy to see it installed when I arrived back home. The first thing I noticed was the sleek modern design. It also runs a lot quieter than previous dishwashers I've owned. My favorite feature is the 3rd rack which is perfect for utensils & mason jar lids. I appreciate this design as a mom of 2 young children. I am always washing a utensil and the 3rd rack allows me to use it as a drying rack. I've been telling all of my friends about how cool this Samsung Dishwasher is!

It was time to replace our old dishwasher and our new dishwasher is an excellent choice. We have used this dishwasher for about 10 days and extremely happy with it. This dishwasher is very quiet and you can barely hear when it running. It has a different variety of cycles to choose from with a delay button. It does a wonderful job of cleaning the dishes and glasses. This dishwasher has a 3rd rack for silverware and it comes out very clean. It perfect for our family of 4. Great product.

I had recently got this new gadget installed at my home. Never had a third rack in my old dishwasher... but now I have it and it's amazing. I can throw my utensils on it and get it cleaned nicely. There are so many great features that I am now in control. easy check, whisper quiet, stain resistance surface, water leak detection and can't forget that it can adjust to my bigger and wider dishes. Adjustable rack is my favorite feature in this dishwasher. Compared to my old one it's whisper quiet and energy efficient. My nights are very quiet and the afternoons are peaceful. We are a big family so utilize the dishwasher more than a few times a week. my old dishwasher didn't have the auto release feature to open the door automatically. I had to run downstairs to get it opened up after the cycle ended. As a part of the big family we used to run normal and heavy cycles on the old dishwasher but compared to the new one ... I just put on the "Auto", no guess work anymore.
